“예수님은 우리의 산 소망”

부활하신 예수님을 찬양합니다!!! 기독교인들의 참된 소망은 예수님이시며, 그 예수님께 있습니다.
예수님께서 죽음을 이기시고 다시 살아나셨기에 저희는 믿음으로 새 생명을 얻게 되었고, “산 소망”을 소유하게 되었다고 사도 베드로는 말하고 있습니다:
베드로전서 1:3-5 “우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지 하나님을 찬송하리로다 그의 많으신 긍휼대로 예수 그리스도를 죽은 자 가운데서 부활하게 하심으로 말미암아 우리를 거듭나게 하사 산 소망이 있게 하시며 – 썩지 않고 쇠하지 아니하는 유업을 잇게 하시나니 곧 너희를 위하여 하늘에 간직하신 것이라”
산 소망을 갖게된 우리는 이 인생을 마무리한 후 하나님께서 “썩지 않고 쇠하지 아니하는 유업”을 준비해 두셨다고 합니다! 할렐루야! 구체적으로 설명되어 있는 것은 아니지만, 하나님께서 준비하신 유업이라면 분명히 기대할만 합니다!
산 소망을 소유한 우리는 무작정 다음 세상만 바라보며 사는 사람들은 아닙니다. 산 소망은 예수님을 믿는 자들에게 오늘도, 어떤 환경에 있던지 인생을 의미있게 살아갈 수 있는 원동력이 되어줍니다! 우리 모두에게 그런 힘이 되기를 기도합니다. 사랑하는 여러분, 오늘 인생이 어떤 커브볼과, 역경과, 아픔과, 슬픔을 가져다 준다 해도, 죽은 자를 살리신 하나님을 믿고, 예수님께 감사하며, 성령님께 의지하며 살아가시기를 부활하신 예수님의 이름으로 소원합니다.

"Living Hope"

We praise the risen Lord, Jesus Christ! Our hope is Jesus Christ himself and our hope lies with Him!
The Apostle Peter wrote that because Jesus overcame death and rose again, we have new life through faith and have “a living hope”:
1 Peter 1:3-5a “Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade kept in heaven for you,”
When our life is done on the earth, God has prepared a special inheritance for God’s children! Hallelujah! God does not mention the specifics of the inheritance but if it is God who is preparing it, then we have something wonderful to look forward to!
For those of us who possess this living hope, we not only look to the distant future but we live today in this world, a meaningful life that glorifies God and blesses people. Dearly beloved, no matter what challenges, pain and curve balls come your way in this world, may the “living hope” that you posses, give you unwavering faith and steadfastness knowing that the God who raised the dead, is at work in you! May you honor the risen Lord TODAY no matter what may come your way!
