늘 간절한 어머니 생각    – 용혜원–

자식을 향한 어머니의 선한 눈빛

부드러운 손길, 따뜻한 사랑이

세상을 살아가는 방법을 가르쳐 주었습니다

자신보다 자식을 더 생각하는 어머니

어머니의 사랑은 언제나 풍성합니다

어머니의 자식도 나이가 들어가며

세상을 살아가면 갈수록

어머니의 깊은 정을 알 것만 같습니다

늘 뵙는 어머니지만 뵙고픈 생각이 간절해

전화를 했더니 어머니도 내 생각을 하고 계셨답니다

그 무엇으로도 다 표현하지 못할 어머니의 사랑

그 사랑을 갚는 길이 없어 늘 어머니 생각이 더 간절합니다

A beautiful poem that reveals a small portion of a mother’s love

and affection for her children.

No matter what we do, no matter what we say,

it will never come close to their heart and sacrifice.

Yet, there is a precious prayer

from the Old Testament that was used as the priestly blessing

that I believe it would be a wonderful way to bless our families,

especially our beloved mothers.

Numbers 6:24-26,

“The Lord bless you and keep you;

the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;

the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

May the Lord bless all the beloved mothers.
