The next steps

This time of the year is full of transitions – High School seniors getting ready for college, college seniors searching for jobs and/or preparing themselves for more years of school, young adults finding new work positions, and families moving to other cities, etc.
Usually, we plan thoroughly before we make the next move such as researching schools, companies, neighborhoods, and so on. Each one of them is very important when it comes to the next steps, but have you noticed that there is one essential step missing? I will be straightforward, it is God.
Before you plan your dorm’s decorations, have you researched churches near your future school? When you are about to start a new job, apart from the new salary and the benefit package, have you prayed about why God blesses you with such an amazing position? And when you are planning to move out of state, just like you would consider the best neighborhood to find the safest place and the best schools for your children, do you consider looking for a place with a church that can love you and support you?
Whatever our next steps might be, I pray that God will always be part of your next steps.
