All Glory Be to Christ – Rev. Aaron Kwon

All glory be to Christ

Rev. Aaron Kwon

Last Sunday, while I was preaching to the youth and young adults, I had the privilege to share about existential crises. Many Christians struggle with this; they wonder the meaning of life, they seek purpose in their lives, and they also question God’s will for them. The answer is different for each person, but there is one that applies to all believers, which is based on the Westminster Catechism. And what’s the answer? To glorify God and enjoy Him forever. In other words, there is nothing more important in this life than to glorify God. No matter what you choose to do in life, it should and is all for God’s glory.

To remind ourselves of the reason for our existence, there is song titled “All glory be to Christ” by The Worship Initiative. This is a modern hymn that glorifies Jesus Christ as the one true King, praising and celebrating His sovereignty. Still struggling with existential crises? In all that you do, in literally everything, all glory be to Christ our King.
