The young adults meet every Friday for dinner, which is provided by gracious people who love serving this group, and for bible study as well. From time to time, we have other events, but last week Friday, we had a very special occasion at our church. If my memory is correct, this is the first English worship service our church had, apart from a Sunday service, in the past eleven years I have been serving at this church. On that day, we had our young adults and some members of the English Ministry get together for a night of praise and worship, with a short message and a time of prayer.

I personally felt blessed for many reasons; first, blessed by God’s grace and presence; second, blessed by having the privilege of leading praise and preaching; third, blessed by praising with brothers and sisters; and fourth, blessed by witnessing God’s faithfulness through this night of English worship. I shared this last blessing because of the need we’ve been having and because of the Lord’s provision.

To celebrate this moment, I wanted to share a worship song called “Firm foundation” by Cody Carnes, where he declares the following in the chorus, “Christ is my firm foundation, the rock on which I stand. When everything around me is shaken, I’ve never been more glad that I put my faith in Jesus, ’cause He’s never let me down. He’s faithful through generations, so why would He fail now? He won’t.” That’s right, our God will never fail us because of His faithfulness. So, let us always faithfully wait in the Lord because He will not fail.
