If I am not mistaken, we are done with all the major Christian holidays and events for the time being. I like to celebrate those days together with the church, but at the same time, I noticed that though they are good reminders of God’s works for us, in some cases, it could also cause an opposite effect; instead of remembering God’s work every single day, we might end up remembering His works once a year.

There is a worship song by Chris Tomlin named “Still the King.” In some of the verses, it declares the following words, “When I think of the cross, the cross of Christ, praise begins to rise, praise begins to rise. When I look on the Lamb, the wounded Lamb, my hands will lift to Him, my hands will lift to Him…   When I think of the tomb, the empty tomb, I’m filled with gratitude, endless gratitude for He defeated death and He reigns above.”

God is worthy to be praised every day, He is worthy of our worship every day, not just when we get together to celebrate major Christian holidays, but every day, as we do our absolute best to remember who He is, all that He has done for us, and that He is still the King.
