“To God be the glory” is a hymn written by the lyricist Fanny Crosby and composed by William Howard Doane. Nowadays, there are many contemporary remakes of the same hymn. And although the music and instruments are different, the message is still the same – to praise the Lord.

Verse 1 begins with the following words, “To God be the glory great things He hath done.” God has done great things indeed; God created the entire world and its creation; God sent Jesus Christ so that sinners could have the chance to be saved; God has blessed immensely our church and its members; our Mexico team returned safely after days of ministry; and soon, God will give us the opportunity to serve in Nicaragua.

These are just some of His works, and I believe that we all have many more blessed things to add on to this list. But most importantly, whether you have one or multiple reasons, our response should be the same, “Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the earth hear His voice. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the people rejoice. O come to thе Father through Jesus the Son, and givе Him the glory great things He hath done.”
