Joy to the world (Joyful, joyful)
Rev. Aaron Kwon
Merry Christmas KPCM! Also, happy birthday Jesus! December 25th is more than a holiday; this day is more than exchanging gifts, more than having pretty decorations, more than a day of rest. Christmas is all about Jesus Christ; the day that God the Son became man to save the world through Him; the day that our Lord and Savior was born to reveal God’s great love; they day that the world has changed completely through the birth of Jesus Christ.
There is so much joy when a baby is born – parents cry out of joy, and friends and families celebrate together with joy. But this kind of joy doesn’t extend beyond that; only a few get to participate in that joy. However, with the birth of Jesus, the entire world can rejoice. Consequently, I want to share the following worship song called “Joy to the world” by Phil Wickham. These are some of the lyrics, “Joy to the world the Lord is come, let earth receive her king; let every heart prepare Him room, and heaven and nature sing… We will sing, sing, sing: Joy to the world… Joyful, joyful we adore Thee, God of glory, Lord of love.” This is the result of such birth, it brings joy to the world, to those who believe in His name. May you have a joyful Christmas as you celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas and happy birthday Jesus!
