“Same God”

Have you ever doubted God’s power? Have you ever forgotten of what He is capable of? The reality is that many Christians have done so, and what’s worse, we do it pretty often. Several reasons can cause this lack of faith and doubt. But I personally believe that one of the main reasons, and a fair one, is the “absence” of miracles. Let’s be extremely careful here. I used the word “absence” for two reasons. First, “absence” because though God is indeed working, we are unable to believe and see His ongoing works; His miracles seem to be absent, but they are always present. Second, “absence” because if we do not experience an unusual miracle, then we believe that there are no ongoing miracles.
The worship song I want to share today is called “Same God” to remind us of the God who performed all the supernatural miracles recorded in the bible is the same God who is still working in wonderful ways for us. The chorus declares, “O God, my God, I need You. O God, my God, I need You now, how I need You now. O Rock, O Rock of ages, I’m standing on Your faithfulness, on Your faithfulness.” Are you in need of a miracle? Are you in need of God’s help? Are you in need of spiritual and physical healing? Present yourself and your prayers before the same God of the bible.
